The Czech Republic sits in the middle of Europe, made up of Bohemia, Moravia and part of Silesia. Prague is known for Charles Bridge, the astronomical clock on the Old Town Square and Prague Castle. Cesky Krumlov keeps a medieval centre in a bend of the Vltava; Karlovy Vary its spa colonnades. Moravia makes wine, while brewing is among the country’s oldest trades.
