Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China on the country’s southern coast, grown out of a British port. The towers of Central face Victoria Harbour and its nightly light show, while a funicular climbs to Victoria Peak. On Lantau and Lamma the pace changes: fishing villages, hiking trails and the Big Buddha statue. The food is known for dim sum and street stalls.
