Mexico links North and Central America, facing both the Pacific and the Caribbean. Yucatan keeps the Maya cities of Chichen Itza, Tulum and Uxmal, next to the resorts of Cancun and the Riviera Maya with their cenotes. Mexico City is known for the Zocalo and its muralists, Oaxaca for food and crafts. In autumn the Day of the Dead fills the country with altars and parades.
