Turks and Caicos Islands

Turks and Caicos is a British Overseas Territory in the Atlantic south of the Bahamas: some forty islands and cays, only a few of them settled. The main resort island, Providenciales, is known for Grace Bay and its fine white sand and calm water. A barrier reef runs along the coast, so diving and snorkelling are well developed. The capital, Cockburn Town, sits on Grand Turk.
